Brittany Chalk | Founder

With her professional dance career spanning nearly a decade, Brittany endeavors to pass along everything she’s experienced to the next generation of aspiring dancers. She grew up dancing at her Mom’s studio and after high school, embarked on her professional training at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She is highly versed in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Heels, and Jazz. Some of her credits include Disney Live Entertainment/Saks Fifth Ave, RWS Entertainment Group, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruise Lines, The Show Palace Dinner Theater (A Chorus Line & Beauty and the Beast), and Busch Gardens, Williamsburg.

Brittany participated in the show development process for Hershey Park’s new main stage show under the direction of RWS Entertainment Group. Whilst a cast member onboard two Holland America ships, she was involved with the Dancing with the Stars at Sea Grand Finale and had the pleasure of working alongside the Dancing with the Stars touring troupe experts from the TV show. During her onboard performances she was also an aerialist on both silks and lyra.

Alongside her dance career, Brittany is also a Choreographer and Teacher. She is currently the Choreographer for Titchfield Festival Theatre’s production of Kiss Me Kate and was the Assistant Director and Choreographer for the show Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at The Show Palace Dinner Theatre. Her choreography also extends to the Las Vegas style touring revue show, Sizzle Las Vegas. Upon getting married to a British citizen, she settled in the United Kingdom with her first UK job teaching Musical Theater and Jazz to children and adults at DM Studios in Southampton. Brittany is now a full time Dance Teacher and Team Manager at Integr8 Dance. Her dog, Spud, is the newest addition to the A Dancer’s Guide team and together have huge plans for the future of this community!

Creating A Dancer’s Guide was a dream of Brittany’s for many years and she strives to develop valuable products and services that guide dancers towards achieving their ultimate dreams. She has devoted her life to the dance community and is passionate about facilitating success for future generations of dancers.
